The option to play split screen with up to four players returned in Call of Duty: Black Ops III, but only in local modes. In Call of Duty: Black Ops and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, when using split screen online, only one additional player can play, allowing two players to play on the same account.
It's simply amazing how detailed and complete those maps seem to be. Highly recommend buying! The positive about zombies is that the game mode itself is timeless. So if you can enjoy playing any of the old games and have fun, then BO3 is basically just more maps, each with some quests and upgrades and stuff.
Idk about Playstation, but on Xbox I can get a zombies game on any map pretty quickly. The more popular ones like The Giant, Ascension, and Kino are almost instant. Others may take up to a minute. Probably over 5k, but never more than 10k.

My mate and I and issues where his ps4 would start overheating after 5 mins of playing when I’m the host (I have ps5, he has ps4), yet when we switched him to host, it’s all good. My theory is that it’s either a coincidence or the ps4 is trying to keep up with the ps5’s frame rate and all that, could be wrong though. 1.
